M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in March, 1916, and sailing in July, joined 2nd Australian Field Ambulance 1st January, 1917, and transferred to 3rd on 9th February, being R.M.O. 10th Battn. till invalided to Australia, arriving in November, 1918. Early education at St. Stanislaus' College, Bathurst, and Sydney Grammar School.
