M.B., Ch.M. : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Palestine. Enlisting 10th January, 1916, and sailing 16th April, served with 2nd A.L.H. Field Ambulance in Sinai and Palestine, including Romani and Gaza, until demobilised to continue studies 21st December, 1917. Early education at Sydney Grammar and The Armidale Schools.
