Enlisting 23rd March, 1916, and sailing 4th September with 4th Reinforcements, served with battn. at Bullecourt, Ypres Sector, Villers-Bretonneux and elsewhere until demobilisation, although wounded at Ypres 28th September, 1917, and at Proyart 18th August, 1918.Early education at St. Joseph's College.
