B.A., LL.B. : Private, 19th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 9th September, 1916, and sailing 25th October, served with battn. from March, 1917, and at Noreuil, Bullecourt and Zonnebeke where wounded 4th October and evacuated to England. Returning to battn. in March, 1918, was wounded again at Ploegsteert on 19th and evacuated to England till July and then to Australia on hospital ship Karoola Discharged in March, 1919, after six months at St. George's Heights Hospital, Mosman.
