B.A., LL.B. : Lieutenant, R.F.A., B.E.F., France. Sailing privately in October, 1916, and enlisting in London in December, was gazetted second-lieutenant in Artillery 20th May, 1917. Crossing to France, served until wounded at Marcoing near Cambrai 24th November and evacuated to hospital, returning to Australia in January, 1919. Early education at Southport, Queensland.
