M.B., Ch.M. : Lieutenant-Colonel, A.A.M.C., A.I.F. After serving as S.M.O. Casula Camp in 1915, S.M.O. and O.C. Field Hospital, Liverpool, and O.C. No. 4 Australian General Hospital, Randwick, enlisted 4th May, 1918, and served on hospital ship Kanowna from 17th September until demobilisation. Early education at Scone Grammar and East Maitland High Schools. Later at St. Andrew's College.
