M.B., Ch.M. : Surgeon, R.N. Joining the Royal Navy as Surgeon in 1911, served on H M.S. Thunderer and later on survey ship Sealark In 1915-16 was on Campania, sea-plane carrier, and in 1917-18 at Naval Hospital ashore. In 1919 on H.M.S. New Zealand, later on survey ship Fantome, and then on New Zealand station. Surgeon-Commander in November, 1923, and still with R.N. at Devonport. Early education at Wellington College, N.Z.
