Sailing privately in February and enlisting in London in April, 1917, worked in Beckett's Park Hospital, Leeds, and later in New Zealand Hospital, Brockenhurst, till Christmas, 1918, returning as passenger in November, 1919. Certificate in Massage. Early education at Presbyterian Ladies' College, Croydon.
