B.E., A.M.I.E.Aust. : Sapper, 4th Field Coy., Engineers, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 15th January, 1916, and sailing 20th September, took part in Battles of Bullecourt, Messines and Ypres, where injured in December, 1917, returning to Australia 21st March, 1918. Early education at Sydney Technical High School.
