Book of Remembrance entry
Attendant: Stoker Petty Officer, RA.N. Enlisting at Portsmouth 18th February, 1913, was on H.MA.S. Sydney at New Guinea and in Pacific and then on escort duty, being present at the Sydney Emden Action 9th November, 1914. Later served in Atlantic, North Sea and elsewhere till the end of the War, being discharged 6th December, 1920.
