Book of Remembrance entry
B.A., Law I : Gunner, 29th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 1st November, 1916, and sailing 10th May, 1917, joined battery in France 18th September and served until severely wounded 24th April, 1918, and evacuated to England. On recovery sent to No. 4 Command Depot 30th August and to Reserve Brigade Australian Artillery 22nd November, serving until demobilisation. Early education at Marist Brothers' High School, Darlinghurst.
