Laboratory Assistant in charge of Stores : Lance-Corporal, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting in August, 1915, and sailing 1st April, 1916, was for one month at Tel-el-Kebir and then crossed to France, joining 1st Australian Field Ambulance and remaining with it until demobilisation. Early education at Woollahra Public School. Later at Sydney Technical College and Manchester College of Technology.
