Arts I : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting in September, 1917, and sailing 5th June, 1918, with reinforcements in No. 9 Sea Transport Section, served at Fovant Military Hospital, No. 2 Australian General Hospital, Wimereux, and till demobilisation. Was awaiting transfer to a Field Ambulance at the Armistice. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
