Econ. : Staff-Sergeant, 1st Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France Enlisting 24th August, 1914, and sailing 18th October, served at the Landing and until wounded 19th August, 1915, and evacuated to No, 2 Aust. General Hospital, Ghezireh. Crossing to France in March, was with H.Q. and 3rd Echelon until invalided to Rouen in August, 1916, thence to Harefield Hospital and Australia, arriving 3rd January, 1917.Early education at public schools and in Art privately. Later at Teachers' College.
