Arts II : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 19th December, 1916, and sailing with reinforcements 5th November, 1917, served in France from June, 1918, being with 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station from 25th September, 1918, to May, 1919, then returning for demobilisation. Early education at a Victorian public school.
