Book of Remembrance entry
B.D.S.; D.D.S. (Tor.) : Lance-Corporal, 13th Battn., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 23rd July, 1915, and sailing 30th September, served in Suez Canal Defences and then with 4th Division in France until wounded and taken prisoner at Pozieres, 14th or 15th August, 1916. On release from Germany at the Armistice, returned to Australia via Holland and England.
