Book of Remembrance entry
Med. I I : Lieutenant, 264th Siege Battery, R.G.A., B.E.F., France. Sailing privately in March and enlisting in London in May, 1916, was commissioned second-lieutenant R.G.A., 3rd June. Crossing to France, served till severely wounded in Ypres sector 23rd July, 1917, returning to Australia in January, 1919. Early education at St. Aloysius' College.
