Book of Remembrance entry
M.A., L.Th. (Dur.); Med. : Chaplain, R.A.C.D., Gallipoli and Egypt. Enlisting as private at Durham in 1914, while on leave from Sydney Diocese, was appointed Chaplain in 1915 and served with Mediterranean and Egyptian Forces and various hospital units till 1919, returning to Australia in 1922.
