Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Corporal, 2nd A.L.H. Signal Troop, A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting in August, 1915, and sailing 5th January, 1916, with 13th Reinforcements, served with troop until demobilisation, from Suez Canal and Sinai to Damascus and the defeat of Turkey. Promoted second-corporal, 1st February, 1917. Early education at Homebush Grammar School.
