Enlisting 4th October, 1914, and sailing n th February, 1915, served at Gallipoli from 1st May until wounded in Turkish attack on 19th and evacuated via hospitals in Malta and England to Australia, arriving 4th May, 1916. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
