M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Gallipoli. Enlisting in May, 1915, and sailing in June as R.M.O. 25th Battn., served in Egypt and Gallipoli till death. Killed by Accident, Tel-el-Kebir, 30th January, 1916, and buried in Tel-el-Kebir War Memorial Cemetery. Early education at St. Marks' Crescent, Darling Point, and Sydney Grammar Schools.
