Book of Remembrance entry
Arch. : Trooper, 1st A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Palestine. Enlisting 27th August, 1917, and sailing 9th November, served in Jordan Valley until invalided early in 1918. On recovery rejoined regt. at Amman and remained with it until withdrawal of troops, being invalided home on six months'' sick leave, arriving 3rd March, 1919. Early education at Sydney Technical High School.
