M.B., Ch.M. : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 1st September, 1916, and sailing 9th November in 8th Reinforcements 4th Divisional Ammunition Column, transferred to 13th Australian Field Ambulance in April, 1917, serving at Messines and Ypres. Leaving France 27th December, 1917, returned to Australia 17th April, 1918, and resumed medical studies. Early education at Fort St. High School.
