M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 17th December, 1917, and sailing 28th January, 1918, was at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, from 2nd April Joining 3rd Australian Field Ambulance 12th May, was transferred to 2nd A.F.Amb. on 22nd, becoming R.M.O. 2nd Field Artillery Brigade 13th October, and of 4th Machine Gun Battn. 8th April, 1919. Killed accidentally by Explosion of Ammunition Dump, Charleroi, 14th April, 1919, and buried in Marcinelle New Communal Cemetery. Early education at Sydney High School.
