Book of Remembrance entry
Agr. Sci. IV : Gunner, n th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 15th January, 1916, and sailing with 6th Reinforcements 5th Brigade, joined 4th Divisional Ammunition Column 29th November, and n th Brigade 23rd December. Fought at Bullecourt, Ypres, Meteren and elsewhere, being wounded 5th April, 1918, on the Somme, but remained on duty and served till death. Killed in Action, Vendelles, 18th September, 1918, and buried in Jeancourt Communal Cemetery Extension. Early education at St. Joseph's College.
