B.Ec. : Gunner, 37th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 6th September, 1915, and sailing 14th October with n th Reinforcements 13th Battn., transferred in March, 1916, to 4th Divisional Artillery and served with 37th Battery till 17th October, 1918, when sent to Australian Base P.O., London, to assist with Christmas mails. In March, 1919, attended London Day Training College, returning n th November.
