Econ. : Sapper, 2nd Divisional Signal Coy. and 17th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 24th May, 1916, and sailing 25th October with 17th Battn. reinforcements, served with battn. from May, 1917, at Somme, Bullecourt, Ypres, Dernancourt and elsewhere. Transferred to Signal Coy. 20th June, 1918, attending Education Service School, Rue, from 9th January, 1919, until demobilisation.
