Book of Remembrance entry
Assistant Lecturer Engineering staff. Listed in the back of the Book of Remembrance in the Munitions section. First mobilised as a Captain in the Militia. He then became Censor, in Brisbane. Later he went to Melbourne on advisory duty with the army and navy. During 1917-18 he was in England on munitions work with which he had become associated in despatch of staff from Australia to England.He returned to Australia to be Acting General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Commonwealth Arsenal.
