Book of Remembrance entry
B.E. : Lieutenant, R.F.C., B.E.F., France. Commissioned on probation 13th April, 1917, continued training at Gosport until June and then at Turnberry, Scotland, till the 13th, when promoted Flying Officer. After further training at Central Flying School, Salisbury Plain, crossed to France, joined No. 54 Squadron and served till death. Promoted lieutenant, 18th August, 1917. Killed in Action, Belgium, 13th October, 1917—at first Reported Missing—and buried in Larchwood Cemetery, Zillebeke. Early education at King''s College, Goulburn.
