B.Sc., M.B., Ch.M.; D.M.R.E. (Camb.): Captain, A.A.M.C., A.N. and M.E.F., New Guinea. Volunteered for A.I.F. in 1915. Mobilised to A.A.M.C. in March, 1917, and posted to No. 4 Australian General Hospital, Randwick. Transferred to Trial Bay Prisoner of War Camp in January, 1918, and to Rabaul Native Hospital in March. Subsequently was District Medical Officer at Kieta (Solomon Is.) and Madang until demobilisation. Awarded Order of the Nile, 1937. Director, Institute of Radiology, Egyptian University, Cairo. Early education at St. Ignatius' and St. Aloysius' Colleges. Later at St. John''s.
