Book of Remembrance entry
LL.B. : Signaller, 4th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in January, 1916, and sailing 14th April, was invalided to hospital at Cairo and, crossing to England in August with 1st Divisional Details, joined battn. in France in December. Was wounded at Velu (Lagnicourt) in April, 1917, and evacuated to England, rejoining battn. in March, 1918, and serving until demobilisation. Early education at St. Ignatius'' College. Later at St. John''s, with two years in Medicine.
