Book of Remembrance entry
M.A. : Lieutenant, General List (Education Service) and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 20th August, 1915, and sailing 22nd December, served with A.A.M.C. and then, transferring to Australian Corps H.Q., was Interpreter, Prisoners of War Cage, and with the Intelligence Section in control of civilians and counter-espionage. Appointed Education Officer in September, 1918, and returned in February, 1920, after four months'' non-military employment.
