Book of Remembrance entry
Eng. I : Lieutenant, A.F.C., 2nd A.L.H. Bde. Signal Troop and A.A.S.C. (Mechanical Transport), A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 23rd September, 1914, and sailing 22nd December with Signal Wireless Troop, was at Gallipoli till the Evacuation. Transferring to Mechanical Transport in February, 1916, and crossing with it to France in June, 1916, served there till October, 1918, then joining A.F.C. in England and returning 9th January, 1920. Early education at Sydney High School.
