M.B., Ch.M., F.R.A.C.S. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 1st August, 1916, and sailing 6th September, joined 5th Australian Field Ambulance in France in December. Served at Flers, Bullecourt, Ypres and Messines till 20th February, 1918, when invalided to Australia, arriving 2nd June. Mentioned in Despatches. Early education at Brisbane Grammar School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
