Book of Remembrance entry
M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in September, 1916, and sailing in December, served with 2nd Australian Field Ambulance and as R.M.O. 1st Pioneer and 5th Battns. at Somme, Bullecourt, Ypres, Hazebrouck and elsewhere until demobilisation, though gassed at Proyart in 1918. Early education at Fort St. High School.
