B.V.Sc. : Major, A.A.V.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 20th September, 1914, and sailing in October, served with 1st A.L.H. Brigade and 1st Division in Egypt. Transferring to 5th Division on formation, crossed with it to France and re-transferred to 1st Division (Mobile Veterinary Section) in November, 1917, serving till October, 1918, when returned on "1914 Leave "via Canada. Mentioned in Despatches. Lecturer in Veterinary Anatomy and Surgery, 1919. Walter and Eliza Hall Veterinary Science Research Fellow.
