M.B., Ch.M. : Trooper, 12th and 6th A.L.H. Regts., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 10th April, 1915, and sailing 12th June with 12th A.L.H. Regt., served at Gallipoli from August till the Evacuation. Transferring to 6th on 22nd April, 1916, fought at Rafa, Romani and Gaza, returning to Australia in October, 1917, to complete medical course. Early education at Barker College and The King's School. Later at St. Paul's College.
