Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, 20th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and France. Enlisting 5th August, 1914, and sailing 25th June, 1915, served at Gallipoli from August till the Evacuation, although wounded on 6th October. Then was on Canal Defences from January to March, 1916, and in France from April until again wounded at Pozieres, 26th July, consequently returning to Australia, 17th April, 1917. Early education at The King's School. Later at St. Paul's College.
