B.A., LL.B. : Lieutenant, R.A.F., Egypt, also A.N. and M.E.F., New Guinea. Enlisting n th August, 1914, and sailing on 18th, served with A.N. and M.E.F. till discharged in March, 1915. After completing Law Course in March, 1917, entered N.S.W. Aviation School, Richmond, gaining pilot''s certificate 26th January, 1918. Sailing for Egypt, 2nd March, joined R.A.F. as cadet in April, being promoted second-lieutenant (Flying Officer), 19th September. Returned on demobilisation. Early education at Barker College.
