Pharmacy : Private, 6oth Battn. A.I.F., France. Enlisting in January, 1916, and sailing 4th May, served from 25th November at Somme, Bullecourt, Polygon Wood, Villers- Bretonneux and elsewhere until evacuated through injury from Peronne to Exeter Hospital 9th September, 1918, returning for demobilisation. Early education at Mosman Superior Public and Fort St. High Schools and Dumfries Academy, Scotland.
