M.B. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and England. Enlisting and sailing in May 1915, served with No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Heliopolis, until 21st January, 1916, when transferred to No. 2 Command Depot, Weymouth. Promoted major, 27th April, 1917, and appointed to No. 1 Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, 1st May, returning in January, 1918. Early education at The Scots College.
