Pharmacy : Staff-Sergeant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt. Enlisting in December, 1915, in Field Artillery, transferred to A.A.M.C. as staff-sergeant, establishing St. George''s Heights Dispensary. Sailing in June, 1916, went to Parkhouse Camp, Salisbury Plain, but was detailed for service in Egypt and returned in January, 1917. Early education at Petersham Superior Public School.
