Arts II : Lance-Corporal, 56th Battn. A.I.F., France. Enlisting 18th March, 1916, and sailing 23rd June, served from December till the Armistice, although wounded at Bullecourt 14th May, 1917, and slightly gassed at Villers-Bretonneux 24th April, 1918. Early education at St. Patrick''s College, Goulburn.
