M.B., Ch.M., D.L.O. (Lond.), F.R.A.C.S. : Sapper, 9th Field Coy., Engineers, A.I.F. Enlisting 9th March, 1916, and sailing 5th July, contracted illness on troopship and was returned from Durban in September, being discharged medically unfit at the end of November. Early education at Barker College. Later at St. Paul's College.
