M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 1st March, 1917, and sailing 11th May, proceeded to No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville. Joining 5th Field Ambulance 25th September, became R.M.O. 18th and 19th Battns. and 2nd Divisional Train for short periods during 1917-18 and then to 26th Battn. until demobilisation. Early education at Fort St. High School.
