Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and France. Enlisting 1st May, 1915, served at Gallipoli with 5th Australian Field Ambulance and as R.M.O. 15th Battn. Joined 15th A.F.Amb. in Egypt early in 1916 and rejoined 5th on 8th May and, crossing to France, became R.M.O. 24th Battn. and later of 17th. Then for a brief period was with No. 3 Casualty Clearing Station, returning to Australia in April, 1917. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
