Arts I : Driver, A.A.S.C. (Mechanical Transport), A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting 18th December, 1916, and sailing 29th October, 1917, after being at M.T. Depots, Sydney and Melbourne, joined 1st Coy. in France 1st June, 1918, and served until demobilisation. Early education at Newington College.
