M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting 23rd May, 1917, and sailing 14th June, was M.O., H.Q., Tidworth, until 31st January, 1918. Was at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, in February, joining 7th Australian Field Ambulance on 28th and arriving at Villers-Bretonneux in April. After being relieving R.M.O. 23rd, 25th, 26th Battns., was R.M.O. 19th in July and August and of 23rd from 3rd September, 1918, to 1st May, 1919. After three months' non-military employment in England, served from 1st September as R.M.O. 4th Mechanical Transport, at Charleroi, Mt. St. Quentin and until demobilisation.
