Book of Remembrance entry
LL.B., Med. I : Private, 36th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 2nd February, 1916, and sailing 9th September, served at Ypres in September and October. Buried by a shell at Broodseinde, was sent to Base but rejoined battn. next month and in March, 1918, took part in raid at Wameton and the action near Hangard. Gassed at Villers-Bretonneux, 19th April and evacuated to England until after the Armistice.
