Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Private, 17th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 2nd February, 1916, and sailing 9th September, arrived in France in December and served in Somme and Ypres sectors until wounded 20th September, 1917, and evacuated to hospital at Abbeville. Subsequently falling ill at the Base, was invalided to Australia, arriving 14th February, 1918.
